South Africa held a charity fair in Pretoria on Nov.14-15 to raise
funds for victims of typhoon Mirinae which hit the Philippines,
Indonesia and Vietnam late last month.
Speaking at the annual event, Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Nguyen Manh Hung said that this year’s fair received sponsorship from Singapore Airlines and Malaysia Airlines in the form of two pairs of travel tickets to all ASEAN countries in prizes to the fair lottery’s winner.
Cultural and handicraft products of ASEAN nations were put on sales while seminars introducing traditional products, the land and people of ASEAN countries were held during the fair./.
