ASEAN Family Day held in New York

Permanent missions of ASEAN member countries and Timor Leste, an observer at the bloc, to the United Nations have held the ASEAN Family Day in New York with the participation of more than 1,000 officials and their relatives.

New York (VNA) – Permanent missions of ASEAN member countries and Timor Leste, an observer at the bloc, to the United Nations have held the ASEAN Family Day in New York with the participation of more than 1,000 officials and their relatives.

The June 30 event was also attended by Chinese and Australian diplomats.

It featured various activities, helping tighten solidarity and community spirit, along with traditional dishes of the participating countries.

Vietnamese beef noodle soup, spring roll, bread and coffee were introduced to foreign friends on this occasion.

The annual event was intended to promote solidarity and friendship between ASEAN member states, as well as between them and their partner countries. It has been held in many cities worldwide./.

TAT showcases Thai culture at Mumbai travel festival
