Bac Ninh (VNA) – The Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee has approved a new social housing project in Tan Tien ward, featuring two residential towers of 19 and 17 floors with a total of 1,000 apartments.

Under Decision No. 281/QD-UBND, Nodeco Joint Stock Company has been appointed as the project’s investor for the social housing project No. 01 in zones 5 and 9 of the southern urban area of Bac Giang city (now Bac Giang and Tan Tien wards, Bac Ninh Province).

Covering an area of 14,466 square meters, the development will include basement parking, commercial and service space (up to 20 percent of the total floor area), residential units, and shared community and technical facilities. The project is designed to accommodate approximately 3,600 residents and will operate for 50 years.

This development contributes to the national program to build at least one million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial workers during 2021–2030. Bac Ninh province has been assigned a target of 147,100 units, representing more than 14 percent of the country’s total goal.

As of late 2025, Bac Ninh has 77 social housing projects underway, covering around 280 hectares and expected to deliver 114,400 apartments when completed. The province has already finished 12,649 units this year, achieving about 80 percent of its 2025 target./.
