Pianist Tamura Hibiki will perform Piano Concerto No 4 under the batonof Austrian conductor Christoph Campestrini, who has worked with more than 80symphony orchestras around the world.
Symphony No 4 and Leonore OvertureNo 3 will also be performed at the two-day event.
The concert is one ofa series of works by Beethoven that have been performed by the Vietnam NationalSymphony Orchestra (VNSO) since the beginning of 2009.
Among Vietnamesestars performing at the concerts were pianist Nguyen Bich Tra and conductor LePhi Phi. Japanese musicians Mukaiyama Tomoko and Suzuki Hidemi will alsoperform.
Campestrini has served as principal conductor at theprestigious Essen Aalto Musiktheater and the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra inGermany , where he has conducted more than 100 performances by 15 differentoperas.
In Asia, Campestrini has worked with the Symphony Orchestra ofTaiwan, the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and in Japan he annually conducts atthe Sakai City Opera Osaka.
This year will include his debut with theHungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Budapest , as well as his debut in Spainwith the Orquesta Sinfonica de Navarra.
