Brad, Angelina bring adopted son home

Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their six children are on holiday in Vietnam , the native country of their seven-year-old adopted son Pax Thien.

This is the family's first trip back to Vietnam since Pax Thien was adopted by the couple in 2007.

Jolie and Pitt have three biological children and three adopted children, from Cambodia , Ethiopia and Vietnam .

After a day in HCM City, the Jolie-Pitt family flew to Con Dao Islandoff Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on a chartered flight operated by localprivate carrier Air Mekong on Nov. 11 afternoon.

Thefamily will stay at Six Senses Con Dao Resort&Spa until Nov. 16 whenthey are scheduled to return to HCM City before leaving thecountry, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reported.

"We takepride in the famous Hollywood family's trip to our island district.Their images will certainly help promote tourism of Con Dao andVietnam's tourism industry as well," Bui Van Binh, chairman of Con DaoIsland District People's Committee, was quoted by Tuoi Tre as saying./.

Da Nang tightens fishing vessel management to have EC's IUU yellow card lifted

Under the official dispatch, commune and ward-level authorities must closely monitor every non-compliant fishing vessel within their jurisdiction. Vessel owners are prohibited from taking their boats to sea without complete legal documents and are required to remove all fishing gear and equipment from vessels that are not eligible to operate.

The simultaneous groundbreaking ceremony for 72 inter-level boarding schools combining primary and lower secondary education in land border communes took place on the morning of November 9.
