Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen announced that he has scrapped ticket sales for 32nd SEA Game 2023 and 12th ASEAN Para Games, thus making the entrance free for all Cambodians.

Phnom Penh (VNA) – Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen announced thathe has scrapped ticket sales for 32nd SEA Game 2023 and 12th ASEAN Para Games, thus making the entrance free for all Cambodians.

ThePM made this remark in a voice message to the public after the announcement ofthe sale of the tickets for the opening and closing of the SEA Games event hasdrawn the ire from a number of netizens.

Hesaid Cambodia has spent hundreds of millions of USD to organise thisevent. Therefore, he will definitely not allow any ticket sales for the openingand closing ceremonies as well as during the competitions.

Cambodiais going to host the 32nd SEA Games from May 5-17 and the 12th ASEAN Para Games from June 3-9./.

Thailand slashes growth forecast amidst US tariffs
