Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc noted with delight the growing all-sided cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia over the past time at a ceremony in Hanoi on November 8 to mark the 60th anniversary of Cambodian Independence Day.
Addressing the event, Deputy PM Phuc cheered Cambodian people on their great achievements over the past 60 years of national struggle, construction and development. During which, the people of both nations always stand side by side together, he said.
Vietnam believes the “fine neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability” with Cambodia will be further consolidated and developed, Phuc stressed.
Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Hul Phanny thanked Vietnam for supporting his country’s struggle for national liberation in the past as well as its current national construction and development.
Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army - Deputy Defence Minister Do Ba Ty also attended the event.-VNA
