Cambodia's trade with Thailand increases by 11 percent

Bilateral trade between Cambodia and neighbouring Thailand increased by 11 percent during the first six months of this year, according to local media.

Figures from the Thai Embassy inCambodia showed that during the January-June period, two-way tradestood at 2.31 billion USD, up 11 percent from 2.08 billion USD a yearearlier.

Cambodia's exports to Thailand wereequivalent to 162 million USD, up 21 percent, while Thailand’s exportsto Cambodia reached 2.15 billion USD, up 10 percent.

Thailand is Cambodia's largest trading partner. Last year,two-way trade amounted to 3.8 billion USD, an increase of 40 percentyear-on-year.-VNA
