Stemming from kindness and mutual love, a group of volunteers cooks hundreds of hot meals every day and delivers them free of charge to people in need, who are affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.

From early in the morning, members of the volunteer team will deliver raw materials to various kitchens in Hanoi to cook.

The kitchen on Ton That Thiep street is under the command of Mr. Nguyen Thuong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Chefs Association, and his wife. The kitchen usually starts working from 7 am to 8 pm without stopping, to ensure meals will be prepared and delivered on time to people.

Each day, the group provides at least 500 meals with boiled rice, meat, fish, and vegetables. Each meal is worth about 25,000 VND. The fund to operate the kitchen is contributed by the group members and other philanthropists.

Some people donate cash. Some donate rice and clean food. At 16 pm, all the meals were neatly packed then transported to some cars from PVC Off-Road Pickup Truck Club, to transport to many places in the city.

Food delivery trips might be long or shot. Sometimes a driver might have to spend a night driving on road. But they always complete their tasks, with the highest determination./.
