Hanoi (VNA) - A charity running competition entitled ‘Run Against Cancer’, aiming to support cancer patients will be held on February 4 at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi.
Aiming to raise awareness of cancer, the race will take place from 8am to 11am with different categories, including running backwards 2km, 2km (one loop of the park), 6km (three loops) and 10km (five loops).
Donations go towards the ‘Lunar New Year Sharing with Cancer Children’ programme at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the Hanoi National Cancer Hospital K3.
Fee for all distances is 300,000 VND, entitling the runner to a finisher medal and a voucher for a cancer check, with men entitled to a lung cancer screening and women to a breast cancer screening, provided by Antamed, a health care service centre.
