China win Asian women’s beach volleyball tourney

China won the Tuan Chau-Asian Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament at Tuan Chau international entertainment zone, the northern province of Quang Ninh on May 7.

Quang Ninh (VNA) – China won the Tuan Chau-Asian Women’s BeachVolleyball Tournament at Tuan Chau international entertainment zone, thenorthern province of Quang Ninh on May 7.

Kazakhstan were crowned runner-up while New Zealand came third.

The four-day event was held by the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam, Quang Ninhprovince’s Department of Culture and Sport and Au Lac Co., Ltd. It is part of aseries of activities for Ha Long Tourism Week 2017, aiming to promote QuangNinh, its land and people.

Twenty three teams from 12 countries and territories competed, includingAustralia, China, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, New Zealand,Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vanuatu and Vietnam.

Vanuatu won the event in 2015 and Australia triumphed in 2016. Vietnam sentthree teams to compete in the tournament.-VNA

One of the clearest examples is Hieu Luc, a modest fish soup eatery on Hai Ba Trung Street in Hanoi, which has been included in the Michelin Selected category for the second consecutive year. ASEAN city leaders explore Hanoi’s heritage sites

At the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, delegates visited the Doan Mon Gate and learnt about the formation and development of the ancient capital through different historical periods at display spaces. They also explored the Kinh Thien Palace’s Dragon Steps (large stone steps with dragon carvings), regarded as the political and ceremonial centre of the imperial citadel during successive Vietnamese dynasties.
