Hanoi, (VNA) – General Secretary of the Communist Party of China CentralCommittee and President of China Xi Jinping and the high-level delegation ofthe Chinese Party and State laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho ChiMinh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on December 13 morning.  

The Chinese Party General Secretary and President was accompanied by Phan DinhTrac, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) CentralCommittee and head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for InternalAffairs.

Later in the day, Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping is scheduled tomeet with Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinhand National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

The Chinese Party and State leader and his spouse are makinga two-day state visit to Vietnam at the invitation of General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong and hisspouse, and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong andhis spouse./.
