Vietnam exported 1.46 million tonnes of coffee worth 2.77 billion USD in the first three quarters ofthisis year, an increase of over 20 percent in volume and 0.4 percent in value compared to the same period last year.

In the first eight months of this year, Germany and the US continue to be the two largest coffee consuming markets of Vietnam, accounting of 12.6 percent and 9.8 percent of market share, respectively. The markets with strong increasing export value were Indonesia (eight times higher), Russia (up 66.6 percent) and the Philippines (up 46.6 percent). In September, the domestic coffee market fluctuated much in line with the world market trends.-VNA
