A kite festival with more than 50 kites of many designs and colours recently took place in the central city of Da Nang within this year’s Da Nang – Summer Destination event.

The sky above Ecopark, a new green urban residential area in the northern province of Hung Yen, was peppered with giant kites representing buoyancy with hope and joy of life.
A kite performance by foreign and Vietnamese artisans opened the annual International Kite Festival in the coastal province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau last weekend.
More than 300 kites of all colours, shapes and sizes are being showcased in Hoi An ancient city and on Tam Thanh beach of Tam Ky city in the central province of Quang Nam.
More than 60 kite artists will take part in the Da Nang kite festival on My Khe Beach in Son Tra district on July 15-16, according to the city’s Festival and Event Organising centre.
