A concert for mixed families from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Vietnam has been held in Seoul , helping to boost friendship and mutual understanding.
A concert for mixed families from theRepublic of Korea (RoK) and Vietnam has been held in Seoul ,helping to boost friendship and mutual understanding.

The annual cultural event, originally initiated by threeparliamentarians from the RoK, offered a range of opportunities forcultural activities for mixed RoK-Vietnam families that have contributedto strengthening friendship and bilateral cooperation between the twocountries.

When giving his opening address before the concert, the VietnameseAmbassador to the RoK Tran Trong Toan, emphasised on the need to supportmixed families and make it easier for them to integrate into society.

There are more than 170 centres to support mixed RoK-Vietnam familiesnationwide, said Ambassador Toan, adding that the families have becomepart of the RoK’s society and contribute to the country’s development aswell as strengthening the links between Vietnam and the RoK./.
