Hoa Binh to host Vietnam Ultra Marathon 2025

This year, the Vietnam Ultra Marathon will take athletes to unique trails in Mai Chau, which is well-known for its majestic nature and distinctive cultural identity. It features five familiar distances of 5km, 15km, 25km, 55km, and Ultra (75km).

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Ultra Marathon (VUM) 2025 will take place in Mai Chau, the northern province of Hoa Binh on March 8, expected to attract nearly 1,500 runners from 44 countries and territories.

This year, the VUM will take athletes to unique trails in Mai Chau, which is well-known for its majestic nature and distinctive cultural identity. It features five familiar distances of 5km, 15km, 25km, 55km, and Ultra (75km).

The Ultra distance of 75km in the women's category will witness an exciting race between Vietnamese star Ha Thi Hau and Slovakian runner Veronika Leng.

Meanwhile, the men’s event will see the participation of top names in the region including Asia-Pacific Trail Cup champion John “Stingray” Onifa.

The VUM is part of Vietnam Trail Series by Topas Travel, together with Vietnam Trail Marathon, Vietnam Mountain Marathon, Vietnam Jungle Marathon./.
