Hanoi (VNA) – Leaders ofVietnam have offered congratulations to their Chinese counterparts on the 72nd National Day of China (October 1, 1949 - 2021).

General Secretary of the CommunistParty of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen XuanPhuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the National AssemblyVuong Dinh Hue sent congratulatory messages to General Secretary of theCommunist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping,Premier Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NationalPeople’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu.

Congratulating China on its achievementsover the last 72 years, the Vietnamese leaders expressed their belief thatunder the CPC’s leadership with General Secretary and President Xi at the core, the Chinese people will successfully fulfill the strategic goals and tasksset at the 19th National CPC Congress and take firm steps forward torealise the “Second Centenary Goal”, which is to build China into a modernsocialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious,and beautiful.

They affirmed that the VietnameseParty, State, and people always attach importance to developing Vietnam - Chinarelations in a healthy and stable manner. They are ready to join China inenhancing equal and mutually beneficial cooperation, promoting the stable andsustainable development of the two countries’ comprehensive strategiccooperative partnership, and contributing to regional and global peace,stability, and development.

On this occasion, Minister ofForeign Affairs Bui Thanh Son extended congratulations to Chinese StateCouncillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi./.
