The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) has clearly helped promote trade between Vietnam and Sweden, with Vietnam’s export turnover to the country in January surging 99.94 percent year-on-year, according to the Vietnamese Trade Office in Sweden.
Vietnam and Sweden have nurtured long-standing energy cooperation and now the scope of cooperation has expanded from hydropower in the past to safe and sustainable energy development at present.
The Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi, in partnership with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), held a conference titled “Pioneer to the Possible” in the southern city on June 2 as part of efforts to boost their partnership in sustainable development.
