The long holiday from LiberationDay (April 30) through May 4 has prompted many people to travel. Inaddition, Da Lat with its cool climate is always a popular destinationfor residents in the southern region at this time of the year when theweather is the hottest.

The high demand haspushed up room rates, with many one- and two-star hotels even doublingtheir rates to 400,000-600,000 VND (19-28.5USD) for a double room and600,000-1,000,000 VND (28.5-47.6USD) a twin room.

Da Lat has 624 accommodation facilities with a total of 10,770 rooms.They included 219 hotels rated from one- to five-star./.
