Da Nang receives gifts from Truong Sa

The People’s Committee of central Da Nang city on Oct. 27 held a ceremony to receive stones and a tropical almond tree as gifts from Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago.

The gifts are toaffirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over seas and islands as well as educatepeople from every walk of life about patriotism, national pride and asense of responsibility for preserving and protecting the country’sterritorial integrity.

On the occasion, thousands oflocal people attended a ceremony entitled “Collect stones to buildSpratly archipelago” launched by the Central Committee of Youth Unionand the Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper.

At the event, the province presented 110 million VND raised from organisations and individuals to Tuoi Tre newspaper.

The Vietnam People’s Navy has to date handed over stones and tropical almond trees to 26 cities and provinces nationwide./.

Over 3,400 administrative procedures, business conditions cut or simplified

Since April, the Government has issued 11 resolutions abolishing 56 conditional business lines. Compared to the 2025 Law on Investment, the number of conditional business sectors has been reduced by more than 28%, from 198 to 142. The resolutions also revised regulations governing 14 conditional business and investment sectors.

Unverified mobile subscriptions hit by service suspension from June 15

Preliminary figures show that more than 93 million mobile numbers had completed ownership verification by the morning of June 15, while over 2 million numbers were identified as not being used by their registered owners.
