Da Nang to host Vietnam-India friendship festival

A wide range of activities will be held during the Vietnam-India people’s friendship festival 2013, which will take place in the central province of Da Nang from October 22-25.
A wide range of activities will be held during the Vietnam-Indiapeople’s friendship festival 2013, which will take place in the centralprovince of Da Nang from October 22-25.

The highlight ofthe event is the talk “Vietnam-India Cultural Exchange” at the ChamSculpture Museum on October 23, focusing discussion on the origin andinfluences of Indian culture on Champa culture as well as relationsbetween Vietnamese architecture and those of India through Champeople’s sculpture art.

The talk will also map out ways to promote cultural exchange and the friendship between the two countries.

In particular, the art performance on October 24 is expected tostrengthen mutual understanding between the people of both countries.

In the framework of the festival, a delegation led by DeviPrasad Tripathi, General Secretary of the Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) and Deputy President of the All-India Peace and SolidarityOrganisation (AIPSO), will pay a courtesy visit to the municipalCommittee of the Party and People’s Committees.

During theirstay in Da Nang, the delegation will also visit Linh Ung pagoda, NguHanh Son landscape area, Quan The Am pagoda and Hoi An Ancient Town.-VNA

Vietnamese community in Thailand honours cultural, traditional values

2025 Vietnam Culture Festival held in Osaka

Visitors enjoy Thai environment, lifestyle at Hanoi festival

At the Thai Festival, from March 28 night to March 30 morning in Hanoi, visitors explored typical Thai dishes, along with health care and beauty care products and traditional handicrafts. They also enjoyed traditional dances from many regions of Thailand, tried making Khanom Krok coconut cakes and painting patterns on silk, among other activities.
