Da Nang tourism services operators meet requirements to welcome foreign visitors

Seventeen tourism services operators in the central city of Da Nang have fulfilled requirements to join a pilot programme welcoming foreign visitors back to the beach city, the municipal Department of Tourism announced on December 2.

Da Nang (VNA) – Seventeen tourism services operators in the central city of Da Nang have fulfilled requirements to joina pilot programme welcoming foreign visitors back to the beach city, the municipal Department of Tourism announced on December 2.
They include five accommodation facilities - Vinpearl Condotel Riverfront Danang, Vinpearl Resort and Spa, Vinpearl Luxury Resort, Risemount Resort andMuong Thanh Luxury Da Nang; and three tourist destinations of Ngu Hanh Son(Marble Mountains), Museum of Cham Sculpture and Sun World Ba Na Hills. 

The nine others are transport service providers.

The Da Nang People’s Committee earlier issued regulationson the pilot programme to welcome foreign visitors back to the city, which willbe rolled out in three phases.
According to the city’s Tourism Department, foreign arrivalsto Da Nang from December 2021 to next February are forecast to primarily comefrom key markets of the Republic of Korea and Japan, along with overseasVietnamese returning home.
The welcome of foreign tourists to Da Nang is part of efforts to revitalise the city’s tourism and related economic and services sectors,contributing to promoting Da Nang as a safe andattractive destination./.
