Dak Lak (VNA) – The Central Highlands province of Dak Lak has invested more than 130 billion VND (5.5 million USD) in building and upgrading infrastructure in local schools, ahead of the 2018-2019 academic year due to start in September.
In preparation for the new academic year, the province has built and repaired 515 classrooms; as well as many labs, multi-purpose rooms, and toilets. The works are focused in remote areas and those with largely ethnic minority inhabitants, such as Lak, M’Drak, Ea H’Leo, and Ea Sup districts.
The education authorities have also bought new learning equipment for schools at all levels.
Pham Dang Khoa, head of the provincial Department of Education and Training, said that the facilities are now ready to serve the upcoming school year.
