Hanoi (VNA) – Minister of Defence General Ngo Xuan Lich and a high-ranking military delegation left Hanoi on May 23 for an official visit to Laos and to attend the 10th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM-10) from May 23-26.

The visit, made at the invitation of the Lao Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Chansamone Chanyalath, aims to consolidate the traditional relations and special solidarity between the two countries’ peoples and armies.

The delegation’s participation at the ADMM-10 represents the country’s involvement in cooperative activities of the ADMM’s framework, thus contributing to maintaining regional and global peace, stability and development.-VNA
