The aid programme, which started on Dec. 15, 2011 and lasts till Aug. 1, 2012, focuses on buying rice varieties, training farming techniques and supervising rice cultivation activities for 80,000 farmer households in these provinces.
The International Cooperation Department and Department of Cultivation under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development are in charge of supervising the programme activities./.
