Danish Ambassador to Vietnam John Nielsen on March 14 presented 10,000 USD, sourced from Denmark’s royal fund, to KOTO, a non-profit hospitality training centre in Vietnam.
At the handover ceremony, John Nielsen expressed hope that the assistance will contribute to building self-confidence for disadvantaged young people and help them find jobs in the future.
KOTO founder, Jimmy Pham pledged to use the funding to provide teenagers with free vocational training and equip them with basic skills to be able to work in the hotel and restaurant service sector.
With branches in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City , KOTO has helped provide basic vocational skills for more than 300 Vietnamese teenagers.-VNA
