While receiving the diplomat, DeputyPM and FM Minh spoke highly of his contribution to consolidating anddeveloping the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnamand Thailand over the past years, especially the two countries’establishment of their strategic partnership during Party GeneralSecretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to Thailand in June this year.

Minhsaid he believes that with the two nation’s determination and efforts,the Vietnam-Thailand strategic partnership will further develop, for theinterests of both peoples, for peace, stability, cooperation anddevelopment of the region and the world.

RegardingASEAN cooperation, the Deputy PM and FM highly valued the two countries’collaboration, asking for further cooperation with other group’smembers to consolidate its internal solidarity.

According to historical records, the area once served as an operational base for units of Regiments 609, 66, 24 and 320, as well as staff and logistics agencies of the Central Highlands front (B3) during the 1966–1969 period. Between 2020 and 2025, the corps had already recovered remains from 46 martyrs in the Chu Pa mountain area.
