A wide range of goods are on display at 300 booths representingcompanies from 21 provinces and cities in southern Vietnam at the 2015Mekong Delta Industry and Trade Fair.
The event kicked off in the Xa No Park, Vi Thanh city in the Mekong Delta province of Hau Giang on June 14.
The booths feature goods from industry, agriculture, food, textiles,fashion, electronics, telecommunications and mixed consumer goods.
Tran Tuan Anh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said that thefair is part of series of activities within the ‘National IndustryPromotion 2015’ programme by the ministry.
Thisis a good opportunity for enterprises to develop their distributionnetworks, learn from each other, gather market information on consumertastes and preferences to improve products and services and seekpartners, Anh said.
On the occasion, corporations and companies donated 15 billion VND (690,000 USD) to the Hau Giang Social Welfare Fund.
The fair will last until June 20.-VNA
