The southern province of Dong Nai is implementing measures to meet its socio-economic development targets for 2015 on time, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc stated on July 16.

Until the end of this year, priority will be given to addressing the difficulties faced by production and improving the business climate with a focus on administrative procedure reforms involving taxation, customs, social insurance and investment, he said.

The locality will mobilise resources to upgrade infrastructure, protect the environment and build new-style rural areas, while helping enterprises to find partners, to expand their market shares and to learn about the opportunities and challenges of the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community in late 2015.

Authorities in Dong Nai will also intensify the management of state budget collection, strive to ensure social welfare and address local residents’ complaints, he added.
