Dong Nai enjoys first widespread rain since last November
Widespread rainfall was reported in the southern province of Dong Nai in the afternoon of May 16.

The short-lasting rains watered crops and eased water shortages for local farmers.
However, rainfall also caused floods in several areas of Bien Hoa city.
According to the Dong Nai weather station, the precipitation was a sign of the beginning of the rainy season in the region.
Rainfall is forecast to continue in the coming days, said the station.-VNA
