She later got acquainted with members of the organisationand took part in its activities.
Hien frequently posted and shared stories and imagesdistorting history, defaming late President Ho Chi Minh, and calling for theoverthrow of the Communist Party of Vietnam. She also received money from the organisationand supported Dao Minh Quan’s return to the country to build the so-called “ThirdRepublic of Vietnam”.
Hien was involved in subversive acts under the directionof the organisation, introduced other people to the organisation, and was appointedrepresentative of the “Provisional National Government of Vietnam” in Districts4, 5, and 6 in HCM City, according to Dong Nai police.
Police said Hien’s acts are in serious violationof Vietnamese law. Though authorities regularly warned her over her behaviour, shecontinued to commit wrongdoings with increasingly sophisticated ruses.
