The Korean Central Broadcasting Station (KCBS), which covered the parade, said that tens of thousands of people gathered for the ever largest parade in the history of the DPRK. The country’s new leader Kim
Jong-un delivered a speech in his capacity as the nation’s supreme leader.
The parade was just one of a series of momentous events to follow the plenary session of The Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on April 11, as well the launch of the satellite carrying rocket the Kwangmeungsong 3 on April 13.-VNA
