Ba Ria-Vung Tau (VNA) – All officers and workers at Naval Squadrons 128 and 129 in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau on May 7 cast votes to elect deputies to the 14th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Councils at different levels for the 2016 – 2021 tenure.

The early election follows a decision made by the National Election Council to allow a number of remote, border and island localities to hold polls ahead of the General Election Day, which is slated for May 22.

For officers and workers at Naval Squadrons 128 and 129, who are on duty at sea and cannot be present on the mainland by May 22, a ship of the High Command of the Naval Region 2 brought ballot boxes to help these voters cast their ballots at sea.-VNA
