VietnameseAmbassador to Italy Nguyen Hoang Long attended the opening ceremony ofthe exhibition, which first began in 1996 and now is the largestinternational event dedicated to the handicraft industry.
Thediplomat lauded the Vietnamese businesses’ participation as it allowsthem to reach customers far and wide and learn experience in productionand brand improvement from foreign partners.
The display ofhand-made products on an area of nearly 1,000m2 together with theperformances of traditional long dress (Ao Dai) and lion dances helpfeature a beautiful, hospitable, and peaceful Vietnam to visitors, theambassador said.
The businesses’ trip was co-organised by theVietnam Cooperatives Alliance, the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy, theGe.Fi group and the Lombardy region.
