Ethnic minority students receive scholarships

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Committee of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum has granted scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to 20 poor ethnic minority students.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Committee of the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum has granted scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to 20 poor ethnic minority students.

These students have achieved excellent results in this year’s university and college entrance exams.

The Tran Van Hai scholarship fund was set up by the provincial youth union in 2007. It has, to date, received 76 million VND contributed by businesses, organisations and individuals both in and outside Kon Tum province.

The fund has doled out a total of 35 million VND in scholarships to support local disadvantaged students./.
