Nearly 200 exhibits confirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes are put on display at an exhibition that opened in the northern province of Hung Yen on July 1.

They include photos, maps and documents in Han (classical Chinese used in Vietnam) and French highlighting the fact that the archipelagoes belong to Vietnam as well as the daily life of soldiers and locals there.

Many documents issued by the Vietnamese feudal states from the 17th to 19th century also demonstrate this undeniable historical truth.

The exhibition will run until July 12.-VNA
