An exhibition of famous battles and military campaigns in Vietnam ’smilitary history opened at the Vietnam Military History Museumin Hanoi on October 4.
Through over 500 photos, documents andexhibits, visitors have an opportunity to witness the mighty history ofthe Vietnamese army and people in fighting and defending the country indifferent periods from the 10 th to the 20 th centuries.
Thisis the first exhibition with contents reflecting the thousand-yearhistory of the national construction and defence, said Colonel NguyenXuan Nang, Director of the museum.
The ten famous battles and military campaigns presented at the exhibition bear a deep social and human significance, Nang said.
Themuseum also introduces documents and original exhibits, includingcollections of weapons and ordinary utensils in different centuries./.
