Wang is leading aCommunist Party of China (CPC) delegation visiting Vietnam from December18-22. He is head of the CPC Central Committee’s InternationalDepartment.

At the meeting, Nhan described the visit as achance for the two sides to exchange operational experience,contributing to consolidating and enhancing the friendship andcooperation between the two Parties and the two countries in line withthe spirit and guidelines reached by their leaders.

Theleader voiced his hope that the two countries’ relationship will prosperin the future and the two committees’ activities will inject vigourinto political institutions of both Vietnam and China.

Inreply, Wang said the Party, State and people of China attach importanceto the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with Vietnam.

He stressed the need for the two countries to enhancesolidarity to cope with hostile forces, reasoning that both are facing arange of challenges and difficulties along with opportunities.

He expressed his hope for more regular, pragmatic and comprehensivecooperation in various areas between the two committees, thuscontributing to enriching the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategiccooperative partnership.-VNA
