Fatherland Front leader visits Air Force Officer Training School

Introducing the development history of the school,headmaster Major-General Nguyen Duy Cuong said since it was establishedin 1959, the school has trained pilots who can master dozens types ofaircraft, including modern ones, and offered more than 60 trainingcourses for command officers and technicians, meeting requirements ofthe national construction and defence.

In addition toprofessional work, the school has actively engaged in social activitiesand helped build local political establishments.

VFFCCPresident Nguyen Thien Nhan praised the achievements the school has madeover the past time, especially the training of quality pilots andtechnicians for Laos and Cambodia.-VNA

HCM City tackles fishing violations at roots

As of December 9, all of the 4,475 fishing vessels in HCM City had registered and updated in the VNFishbase database, of them 4,268 licensed. The remainder, classified as ineligible, are strictly monitored and kept moored locally, with no permission to put to sea.

Vietnam, IAEA comprehensively assess national nuclear power infrastructure
