Hanoi (VNA) - Vu Thanh An is the only Vietnameseathlete at the Men’s Sabre Fencing World Cup which will be held in Poland on February21 and 22.

The Southeast Asian Games champion will meet with most of theworld's best fencers, including No 1 Oh Sanguk from the Republic of Korea, No 2Max Hartung of Germany and No 3 Luca Curatoli of Italy among a total of 214competitors.

Athletes will take part in the knock-out format competitionwith the draw held on February 20.

An is currently world No 48. He is seeking points to qualifyfor the Tokyo Olympics this summer./.
