Every district in mainland Vietnam is now on the national electrical grid after Electricity Company 1 put into operation powerlines that reach Muong Te district in Lai Chau province on Feb. 9.
The lines, part of a World Bank-funded project capitalised at more than 30 billion VND, bring light to nearly 2,000 ethnic minority households in the mountainous northern province.
