The France-Vietnam (FV) hospital in Ho Chi Minh City has become the first hospital in Vietnam to issued two important regulations, which are a code of conduct and work ethic for its doctors.
Speaking at a ceremony to mark the hospital’s 10 th anniversary on April 18, the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Health’s Health Care Management Department, Nguyen Trong Khoa said the Ministry of Health has chosen the FV hospital as model for other hospitals to learn from its experience in quality management. The hospital will also engage in projects to build quality standards for medical establishments in the country.
The French Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City , Fabrice Mauries said the FV hospital, is a symbol of the medical cooperation in both the state and private sectors between Vietnam-France.
According to FV hospital’s CEO Jean Marcel Guillon, the hospital receives about one thousand patients a day.-VNA
