Son La (VNA) - Police of Moc Chau andVan Ho districts, the northern mountainous province of Son La, arrested fivepeople for illegally transporting and trading 40 packs of heroin on July 2.

They are Phang Thi Chu, born in 1978, Mua AChong, born in 1995, and Mua A Giang from Kho Hong village, Chieng Xuancommune, Van Ho district; Mua A Sang, born in 1987 from Dao village, Muong Lumcommune, Yen Chau district, Son La province, and Kha A Ky, born in 1975, fromHang Kia village, Pa Co commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.

Apart from 40 packs of heroin, the police alsoseized one car, two motorbikes and other evidence.-VNA
