HCM City (VNS/VNA) - Four international exhibitions in the paper, rubber andtyre, coatings, and plastic industries opened in Ho Chi Minh City on June 26.

They areshowcasing machinery, technologies and materials used in the paper and pulp,rubber and tyre, coating, dyeing, inking and plastics industries.

More than300 companies from countries like the US, Italy, Spain, Germany, India, theRepublic of Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and China are participating.

Therewill be several seminars on their sidelines, including an Overview of Vietnam’sCoating and Printing Ink Industry in 2019, Trend of Sustainable Development andPotential Certifications for Vietnamese Rubber Enterprises and Overview ofAdvantages of Using Newburg Siliceous Earth in Coatings.

Therewill also be VIP Buyer and B2B matching programmes to help businesses identifycustomers and make appointments and meet with potential partners.

Accordingto the Vietnam Paint and Printing Ink Association, the industry is still youngin the country and so enterprises need opportunities to promote their products.

CoatingsExpo Vietnam is an ideal opportunity for them to learn about the latest trendsand market demand, and enhance cooperation with local and foreign counterparts,it said.

Organisedby the Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co Ltd, ChinaNational Chemical Information Centre and China United Rubber Corporation, thefour exhibitions are on at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC)until June 28 and expect to receive 5,000 trade visitors.

China BrandShow

More than120 leading Chinese brands in the rubber and paper industries with "greenchemicals" initiatives are displaying their products at the China BrandShow that also opened at the SECC on June 26.

Theyinclude Dalian Glospect, Shanghai Deren, Junma Tire, Yizumi Rubber, JiangsuAltertech, Dandong Gaoxin, Jining Weiya, Qinyang and Shangbaoluo Jiangsu.

On showat the three-day event are products such as paper materials and products, papermodels, paper dyes, rubber raw materials, rubber additives, rubber components,moulds and tyres, and machinery and equipment used in paper and rubberproduction.

It isbeing organised by VEAS, CNCIC, and CURC under the direction of the ChineseMinistry of Commerce’s Trade Development Bureau within the framework of the PaperVietnam and Rubber & Tyre and RubberTech Vietnam.-VNS/VNA
