Indonesian search and rescue teams found four more bodies of victims on board the crashed AirAsia plane QZ8501, raising the number of the recovered to 48, said head of Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency Bambang Soelistyo on January 9.

Two of the bodies were found stuck in passenger seats, he said, adding that the search operation is focusing on lifting up the plane's tail.

According to Soelistyo, hunters need to lift up the tail, which was founded two days ago, to see whether the black box remain in it or not, while at the same time search for the pings continues.

Two big debris were also discovered at the depth of about 25-30m in the Pangkalan Bun sea, central Kalimantan where the accident occurred, he said.

In another development, AirAsia planned a compensation of 300 million Rp (nearly 5 million USD) for each victim. Meanwhile, AirAsia Indonesia Director Sunu Widyatmoko said the airline assured that the family of each victim will receive 1.25 billion Rp (nearly 20 million USD) as compensation after all procedures are completed.
