Hanoi (VNA) - The FPT Techday 2019 was held at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi on November 21, bringing together over 500 senior leaders of large enterprises and banks and technology experts to discuss digital transformation’s priorities and challenges.
With 48 booths and 65 products showcased, participants to the annual technology forum of FPT Corporation were provided the opportunity to experience the latest technology products and solutions in Core Technology, Smart Finance, Smart Healthcare, Smart Factory, Smart Edu, Smart Enterprise and Smart Life, helping them to transform their businesses.
As part of FPT Techday 2019, FPT Corporation organised two thematic seminars entitled “Smart start in the journey of banking digitalisation” and “Smart start in corporate governance”, aiming to elaborate on the digital transformation ways that can bring about changes in efficiency, productivity, customer experience, and business model.
This year, for the first time visitors to the event were offered an unique experience in travelling on “made in Vietnam” self-driving vehicles developed by FPT Corporation.
The autonomous vehicle technology is the solution of transporting people and goods automatically, aiming to address the needs of short-distance transportation in smart urban areas, resorts, warehouses and large factories.
A Virtual Assistant Call-center, developed from AI platform, has also been introduced for the first time, alongside Akabot platform that creates virtual robots to help solve the problems of automating business operation and FPT.UServices.
The proportion of Vietnamese enterprises that have not adopted digital transformation is about 1.5 times higher than the global average. The biggest problem for businesses was that they did not know where to start the transformation, said Nguyen VanKhoa, FPT Director General, at the event.
He said if businesses failed to get moving, they would be left behind.
Digital transformation had no other purpose than to help businesses change, increase their competitiveness and promote development, said Hoang Viet Anh, FPT Deputy Director General.
“In order to effectively implement digital transformation, FPT believes that it is necessary to think big, start smart, and increase scale quickly,” he said.
“The smart start is to identify and focus on the essentials for the business; select highly feasible projects, and select simple projects during the pilot process," he added./.
