A photo exhibition named “Panoramic views of Vietnam – green and smile” by French photographer Thiery Beyne is now open in central coastal Nha Trang city from Oct. 3-31.
On display are 11 sequential photos and seven single photos taken by Beyne since 1997, which reflect Vietnamese people’s daily life as well as changes in Vietnam.
Freelance photographer Beyne came to Vietnam for the first time in 1977 and returned to the Southeast Asian nation many times. In 2010, he decided to live in Nha Trang city and works for France’s non-governmental organization AVEED to help Vietnamese disadvantaged children.
He has so far organized 12 exhibitions, featuring the normal life of Asians, especially Vietnamese, in Paris, and donated part of proceedings from selling the photos to poor Vietnamese children./.
