Atthe reception, Giang, also Deputy Defence Minister, highlighted robust growthof Vietnam – Russia defence relations, particularly in naval cooperation.
Hesaid he believes the ties would be strengthened and further develop toward effectiveness.

Hecalled for both sides to increase exchanges and naval collaboration incontribution to sound relationship between the two countries and their armies.
Commendingthe outcomes of the talks, Giang said he wants Vietnamese and Russian navies tocontinue stepping up efficient cooperation.
Hestated that the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army would create all possibleconditions for the expansion of their engagements in the future.-VNA
