Legendary golfer Greg Norman, who was appointed as Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam for 2018-2021, has promised to promote Vietnamese coffee to the world.

Hanoi (VNA) - Legendary golfer GregNorman, who was appointed as Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam for 2018-2021, haspromised to promote Vietnamese coffee to the world.

Norman has visited coffee farms and factories inthe Central Highlands province of Dak Lak where he highly appreciated thequality of Vietnamese coffee.

The Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam was impressed by thetaste and fragrance of different kinds of coffee in the region.

Vietnamese coffee is much more tasty than thecoffee in Western countries, he said.

“With the position as Tourism Ambassador ofVietnam, I will help introduce Vietnamese coffee to the world,” Normanpromised.

During the trip, he also learned about theculture, ruou can (wine drunk from ajar through pipes) and gong music in the Central Highlands region.-VNA
