Hai Duong receives 3.2 million visitors in nine months
The northern province of Hai Duong welcomed more than 3.2 million visitors in the first nine months of 2019, a year-on-year rise of 13.2 percent, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Of the figure, there were over 1.2 million tourists staying overnight, up 12.7 percent against the same period last year.
Tourism revenue in the period rose to 1.49 trillion VND (64.17 million USD), increasing by 10.6 percent year-on-year.
Hai Duong is set to fulfil the target of greeting 4.2 million tourists this year. In Q3 alone, about 1.1 million holiday makers travelled to the province.
The province is now home to over 160 accommodation establishments, with about 4,650 rooms.
During 2010 – 2014, the number of tourists to Hai Duong just surpassed 2 million on an average annual basis. The figure increased to 3.12 million in 2015 and 3.95 million in 2018.
In the first half of 2019, about 2.18 million holiday makers chose the province for their vacations, up 17.4 percent on year./.
